Possible Causes
Machine not level, Feet not locked, Slippery floor surface, Transit bolts left in place
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance. Do not attempt to hold the machine in place while it is spinning.
Step-by-step checks:
- Level the machine: Use a spirit level on the top surface. Adjust the front and rear feet until the machine is stable and does not rock.
- Lock the feet: Tighten the lock nuts on adjustable feet to prevent them from moving.
- Remove transit bolts: On new installations, ensure all rear transit bolts and spacers have been removed according to the installation manual.
- Use anti-vibration pads: On very smooth floors, fit rubber pads under the feet to reduce movement.
When to call a technician: If vibration persists despite correct leveling, internal suspension components may be worn and need professional inspection.
