How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before further inspection.
- Check installation clearance: Ensure there is adequate space around the washer-dryer for ventilation as specified in the manual. Do not enclose it tightly in a cabinet without proper airflow.
- Clean vents and ducts: Vacuum dust from rear and side vents. Clean internal dryer ducts and lint traps thoroughly.
- Inspect control board area: Remove the top cover and check for blocked airflow around the main PCB. Ensure no insulation or items are obstructing vents.
- Test temperature sensors: Use a multimeter to measure resistance of NTC sensors (wash and dryer) at room temperature. Replace any sensor that is out of specification.
- If overheating persists: The control board or heater control circuit may be malfunctioning and should be evaluated by a technician.
