Possible Causes
Unbalanced load repeatedly aborting spin, Clogged drain system leaving water in tub, Faulty tachometer sensor, Weak drive motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before checking internal components. Do not reach into a spinning drum.
- Check for standing water: If water remains in the drum, follow the E2 drain troubleshooting steps first. The machine will not spin at high speed if it cannot drain.
- Redistribute load: Open the door and rearrange laundry to balance weight. Avoid washing single heavy items alone.
- Run spin-only cycle: Select a spin-only program with a small, balanced load to test high-speed spin.
- Inspect belt and motor: Remove the rear panel and verify the belt is tight and not slipping. Check motor operation as in E3/E13.
- If mechanical parts are good: A faulty tachometer or control board may be misreading speed and limiting spin. Replace the motor (with tachometer) or PCB as indicated by testing.
