Washer-dryer combo door glass becomes extremely hot during drying.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before inspection.

• Clean airflow path: Follow E6/E12 steps to clean lint filters, ducts, and condenser.
• Inspect door gasket: Ensure the gasket seals properly around the door to direct hot air through the drum, not against the glass.
• Test thermostats: Check continuity of high-limit thermostat and cycling thermostat on the heater housing. Replace any that are stuck closed or open as appropriate.
• Monitor with lower heat: Use a lower temperature setting and verify if the issue improves. If not, the control board may be misregulating heater power.
