Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Faulty drive motor, Defective motor capacitor, Failed motor control circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing the rear panel or motor.
- Check drum by hand: Rotate the drum manually. If it spins freely but does not move during wash, suspect a drive issue.
- Inspect drive belt: Remove the rear panel and verify the belt is on both pulleys. Replace if broken, frayed, or loose.
- Test motor and capacitor: Follow the E3/E16 procedures to check motor windings and capacitor condition.
- Control board check: If belt and motor are good, the motor drive circuit on the main PCB may be defective and require replacement.
