• Clean pump filter: Open the lower access panel and remove the drain pump filter. Clear all debris and rinse the filter thoroughly.
• Inspect tub-to-pump hose: Remove the hose from the tub to the pump and check for socks, lint, or other obstructions. Clean and reinstall with clamps tight.
• Check drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height per Danby instructions. A hose that is too high or too low can cause slow draining.
• Test pump performance: After cleaning, run a drain-only cycle and observe the water flow from the drain hose. Weak flow may indicate a failing pump that should be replaced.
