Possible Causes

Blocked or kinked pressure hose, Faulty water level (pressure) sensor, Loose wiring to pressure sensor, Air leak in pressure hose connection at tub or sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the top or rear panels.

  • Locate pressure system: Remove the top cover. Find the small rubber or plastic hose running from the bottom/side of the tub to the pressure sensor mounted near the top.
  • Inspect hose: Check for kinks, pinches, or cracks. Remove the hose from the sensor and tub nipple and blow through it to ensure it is clear of soap residue or lint.
  • Check hose connections: Reattach the hose firmly at both ends, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
  • Inspect sensor wiring: Verify the electrical connector on the pressure sensor is fully seated and free of corrosion or damage.
  • Replace sensor if needed: If the hose is clear and connections are good but E7 persists, replace the water level sensor with a compatible Danby part.
  • Test operation: Reassemble the top, restore power, and run a small load to confirm proper filling and no further E7 errors.
