Washer-dryer combo makes a loud banging or knocking noise during spin; unit may move or "walk" across the floor.

Safety first: Do not touch or try to hold the machine while it is spinning. Allow it to stop completely before adjusting.

• Redistribute load: Open the door and rearrange laundry evenly. Remove heavy items if the drum is overfilled.
• Level the unit: Adjust the leveling feet so the Danby combo sits firmly on the floor without rocking. Use a level front-to-back and side-to-side.
• Inspect shocks and springs: Unplug and remove the rear or front panel. Check the suspension shocks for oil leakage or broken mounts, and springs for stretching or breakage. Replace any worn components.
• Check shipping bolts: On newly installed units, ensure all shipping bolts have been removed from the rear of the machine.
