Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose or chamber, Faulty pressure switch contacts, Moisture or corrosion in pressure switch connector, Control board analog sensing fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing covers.
- 1. Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the small rubber hose from the tub to the pressure switch. Remove it and blow through to ensure it is clear. Clean any soap residue from the tub connection.
- 2. Check for water in hose: Any water trapped in the hose can cause false readings. Shake out moisture and refit securely.
- 3. Test switch contacts: Disconnect the pressure switch connector. Using a multimeter, check continuity between the common and output terminals while gently blowing into the switch. Contacts should change state at defined pressures. Replace the switch if it does not respond correctly.
- 4. Connector and wiring: Inspect the connector for corrosion or loose pins. Clean and reseat. Follow the harness to the PCB and ensure it is not damaged.
- 5. PCB diagnosis: If the pressure system is sound but E11 persists, the control board's level sensing circuit may be defective. This requires professional testing and likely board replacement.
Note: Do not adjust calibration screws on the pressure switch; use only factory-set components.
