How to Fix / Troubleshooting

- 1. Verify blockage first: Open the pump filter and ensure it is clear of debris. If the filter and hoses are clear but the pump does not run, proceed with electrical checks.
- 2. Test pump coil: Access the pump from the front bottom or rear, depending on model. Disconnect the electrical connector and measure resistance across the pump terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed pump that must be replaced.
- 3. Check connector and wiring: Inspect the pump connector for corrosion or loose pins. Follow the wiring to the control board and repair any damage.
- 4. Control board output: If the pump tests good but never receives voltage during a drain command (test only with proper safety and expertise), the main PCB's pump relay or triac may be defective and require replacement.
