Possible Causes
Excessively unbalanced laundry load, Worn or broken suspension shock absorbers, Faulty drum balance sensor (if fitted), Control algorithm detecting excessive vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before tipping or moving it.
- 1. Redistribute load: Open the door (once unlocked) and redistribute laundry evenly around the drum. Remove heavy single items (e.g., one large bath mat) and try again with a more balanced load.
- 2. Check machine leveling: Ensure the washer-dryer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust the feet so the cabinet does not rock when pressed at the corners.
- 3. Inspect shock absorbers: Remove the rear panel and observe the suspension. Press down on the drum; it should move smoothly and stop quickly. Oil leakage or very bouncy movement indicates worn shocks that should be replaced in pairs.
- 4. Suspension springs: Check the top suspension springs for stretching or damage. Replace if deformed.
Note: Persistent E20 with normal loads suggests mechanical suspension issues that must be corrected to avoid further damage.
