Start Circuit / Door Not Recognized
Washer-dryer does not start when Start/Pause is pressed; display and lights appear normal

Possible Causes
Door not fully closed, Faulty door lock switch, Defective Start/Pause button, Software lock (child lock) active
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure the appliance is plugged into a grounded outlet.
- 1. Check door and indicators: Close the door firmly until you hear a click. Look for a door-locked symbol on the display. If absent, the lock may not be engaging.
- 2. Child lock: Consult the user manual for the child lock combination (often holding two buttons). Disable it and try again.
- 3. Test Start/Pause button: If other buttons respond but Start does not, the switch may be faulty. Access the control panel and test the button's continuity when pressed. Replace the UI board or button assembly if defective.
- 4. Door lock: If the door symbol flashes or never lights, test and replace the door lock assembly as described in the E01 procedure.
Note: Some models require the program selector to be in a valid position before Start will respond.
