Possible Causes
Unbalanced or overloaded drum, Clogged drain system causing retained water, Worn motor brushes reducing torque, Faulty tachometer feedback
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before internal checks.
- 1. Check load and program: Ensure you are using a program with high-speed spin and that the drum is not overfilled. Remove some items and try a spin-only cycle.
- 2. Verify drainage: If water remains in the drum, clean the pump filter and check the drain hose for blockages as in the E03 procedure.
- 3. Motor brushes: If the machine is older and uses a brushed motor, inspect and replace worn brushes to restore full spin power.
- 4. Tachometer: A faulty tachometer can cause the control to limit spin speed. Test and replace the motor or tachometer as needed.
Note: Persistent poor spin after these checks may indicate control board or sensor issues requiring professional diagnostics.
