How to Fix / Troubleshooting

  • 1. Identify noise location: Slowly rotate the drum by hand and listen for the point of contact. Note the approximate position.
  • 2. Inspect through heater hole: Remove the rear panel and then the tub heater (after disconnecting wires). Use a torch to look inside the tub around the drum for foreign objects. Remove with long-nose pliers.
  • 3. Sump hose access: Alternatively, remove the sump hose from the bottom of the tub and inspect for trapped items.
