Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer-dryer combo and turn off both hot and cold water supply valves before working on hoses or valves.
- 1. Check household water supply: Verify that both hot and cold faucets feeding the Electrolux combo are fully open and that other faucets in the home have normal pressure.
- 2. Inspect inlet hoses: Pull the unit forward slightly, ensure hoses are not kinked or crushed behind the machine. Straighten any sharp bends.
- 3. Clean inlet filters: Turn off water, disconnect hoses from the rear water inlet valve. Inside the valve ports you will see small mesh filters. Carefully remove debris with a small brush or tweezers. Do not puncture the screens.
- 4. Test fill: Reconnect hoses firmly, turn water back on, and run a rinse or quick wash to see if filling improves.
- 5. Check for valve failure: If you hear the valve humming but little or no water enters (and supply is good), the Electrolux water inlet valve assembly may be faulty and require replacement.
If the error persists after these checks, replacement of the inlet valve or further electrical diagnosis by a qualified technician is recommended.
