Possible Causes
Severely blocked drain hose or standpipe, Foreign object lodged in drain pump, Partially blocked tub-to-pump hose, Failing drain pump motor winding
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and prepare for water spillage.
- 1. Clean pump filter and cavity: Follow the same steps as for E20 to remove and clean the pump filter. Reach into the pump cavity and feel for socks, coins, or other obstructions.
- 2. Inspect tub-to-pump hose: Access the underside/front of the machine. Remove the large rubber hose from the tub to the pump. Check for trapped items and clean thoroughly.
- 3. Check external drain path: Ensure the drain hose and household standpipe are clear and at the correct height per Electrolux installation instructions.
If the pump is clear but still cannot evacuate water within the programmed time, the drain pump assembly is likely weak or failing and should be replaced.
