Possible Causes

Defective pressure sensor, Blocked pressure hose, Loose electrical connector at pressure sensor, Faulty main control board analog input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before removing the top cover.

  • 1. Access pressure sensor: Remove the top panel. Locate the round or rectangular pressure sensor connected to a small rubber hose.
  • 2. Inspect hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked, cracked, or blocked. Remove it from the sensor and tub/air chamber, then blow through it to confirm it is clear.
  • 3. Clean air trap: If accessible, remove and rinse the air trap at the tub connection to clear detergent buildup.
  • 4. Check connector: Reseat the electrical connector on the pressure sensor.

If E31 persists, the pressure sensor itself is likely faulty and should be replaced with the correct Electrolux part. If replacement does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be at fault.
