Possible Causes
Detergent sludge in air trap, Blocked pressure hose, Build-up in tub outlet to air chamber, Restricted pressure sensor port
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and ensure the tub is drained.
- 1. Access air trap: From the front or rear, locate the plastic air chamber attached to the lower side of the tub with a small hose leading to the pressure sensor.
- 2. Remove and clean: Detach the air trap and hose. Rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove soap scum and residue.
- 3. Reassemble: Refit the air trap and hose securely, ensuring no leaks or kinks.
After cleaning, run a rinse cycle to confirm normal operation. If E38 returns, the pressure sensor may also need replacement.
