Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing the door lock.
- 1. Check door closure: Ensure the door closes firmly and the latch engages. Inspect the plastic door strike for cracks or misalignment.
- 2. Inspect door gasket: Make sure the door boot is not folded or obstructing the door from closing fully.
- 3. Access door lock: Remove the front retaining band of the door boot and peel it back near the lock. Unscrew the door lock assembly and pull it out slightly.
- 4. Check wiring: Ensure the connector is fully seated and wires are intact.
