Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty control board analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit.
- 1. Identify which NTC: Depending on the subcode, the fault may be in the wash tub NTC or dryer NTC. Refer to the service manual if available.
- 2. Test NTC: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature. Compare to Electrolux specifications. Replace if out of range.
- 3. Check connectors: Reseat the NTC connectors at both the sensor and control board.
If a new NTC does not clear E70, the control board may be defective.
