Possible Causes

Failed tachometer sensor on Equator drive motor, Loose tachometer connector, Damaged motor harness, Faulty motor control circuit on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the motor or control board.

  • Check drum movement: Manually rotate the drum to ensure it spins freely and is not mechanically jammed.
  • Access motor: Remove the rear panel to expose the drive motor. Locate the small tachometer connector on the motor.
  • Inspect connections: Ensure the tachometer plug is fully seated and that wires are not broken or pinched.
  • Test tachometer (advanced): With a multimeter set to AC volts, spin the motor shaft by hand (with the belt removed). You should see a small AC voltage generated by the tachometer. No output suggests a failed tach sensor or motor.

If the tachometer and wiring are intact but E11 persists, the motor control circuitry on the main PCB may be defective and require replacement.
