Possible Causes
Stuck open water inlet valve on Equator combo, Faulty water level sensor causing overfill, Leaking tub or hose triggering base float switch, Faulty overflow switch or wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off water supply immediately if you suspect an overflow or leak.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around and under the washer-dryer for standing water. Mop up any water and dry the base.
- Inspect hoses: Check inlet hoses, drain hose, and internal tub-to-pump hose (if accessible) for cracks, loose clamps, or drips.
- Check inlet valve: Turn off the water supply valves. If water continues to enter the drum with valves closed, the inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
- Base float switch (if equipped): Some Equator combos have a float switch in the bottom pan. If water has collected there, the switch will trigger E9. Dry the pan completely and verify the float moves freely.
- Test after drying: Once all leaks are corrected and the base is dry, restore power and water and run a short cycle to confirm the error is cleared.
