Possible Causes
Unbalanced load protection repeatedly aborting spin, Worn or broken drive belt on Equator combo, Faulty door lock not signaling locked state, Failing motor or motor control circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing panels.
- Redistribute load: Open the door, rearrange clothes evenly, and run a spin-only cycle.
- Check door lock: Ensure the door locks firmly when spin is selected. If the lock light does not come on, the control may prevent spin.
- Inspect drive belt: Remove the rear panel and check the belt for wear, cracks, or being off the pulley. Replace if damaged or loose.
If the belt and door lock are good but the drum still will not spin, the motor or control board may be faulty and require technician service.
