Washer-dryer combo powers on but will not start any cycle; pressing Start does nothing.

Safety first: Do not attempt to bypass safety interlocks.

• Check for control lock: Look for a key or lock icon on the display. Disable child lock by holding the designated button combination (refer to Equator manual, often holding two buttons for 3–5 seconds).
• Verify door closure: Ensure the door is firmly closed and latched. Try opening and closing it firmly, then press Start again.
• Test other buttons: If some buttons do not respond, the user interface board or membrane may be faulty.
• Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and retry.

If the Start button and door lock are functional but the unit still will not start, the main control board may need professional diagnosis or replacement.
