Possible Causes
Drain pump not reaching empty level, Blocked pressure sensor hose, Faulty water level pressure switch, Control PCB safety logic error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance. Water may spill when accessing the pump filter.
- Step 1 – Manually drain: Use the pump filter access to drain water into a tray. Once water is removed, the door may unlock.
- Step 2 – Clean pump filter and hose: Remove debris from the pump filter and check the drain hose for blockages or kinks.
- Step 3 – Inspect pressure system: Remove the top cover and locate the water level pressure sensor and its hose. Ensure the hose is not blocked, kinked, or detached from the tub or sensor.
- Step 4 – Test pressure switch: If equipped, use a multimeter to test the switch contacts while gently blowing into the sensor. Replace if it does not change state.
- Step 5 – Reset and test: Reassemble, plug in, and run a rinse and spin cycle. If E11 returns, further diagnosis of the control PCB may be required.
