Washer-dryer shows E18 and does not take in hot water (on models with hot feed)

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the hot water tap before working on hoses.

• Step 1 – Check hot supply: Ensure the hot water tap is open and that hot water flows from the hose when disconnected.
• Step 2 – Clean filter: Remove the hot inlet hose and clean the mesh filter in the hot valve port.
• Step 3 – Inspect wiring: With the top cover removed, check the hot valve connector and wiring for secure fit and damage.
• Step 4 – Test valve coil: Use a multimeter to measure resistance across the hot valve coil. Replace the inlet valve assembly if the coil is open.
• Step 5 – Test cycle: After replacement, run a hot wash to confirm that E18 is cleared and hot water fills correctly.
