How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use gloves when handling cleaning chemicals. Ensure good ventilation.
- Step 1 – Drum clean cycle: Run a maintenance wash at 90°C with no laundry, using a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar and baking soda as per product instructions.
- Step 2 – Clean door seal: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth soaked in diluted bleach or specialized cleaner. Remove lint and residue.
- Step 3 – Clean detergent drawer: Remove the drawer and scrub away mold and detergent buildup. Clean the housing as well.
- Step 4 – Leave door open: After each use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow the interior to dry and prevent odors.
