How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep clear of the appliance while it is violently vibrating. Unplug before adjustments.
- Step 1 – Level the machine: Use a spirit level on top of the washer-dryer. Adjust the front and rear feet until the unit is stable and does not rock.
- Step 2 – Load distribution: Avoid washing single heavy items. Mix large and small items and do not overload the drum.
- Step 3 – Inspect suspension: Remove the rear or front lower panel and observe the shock absorbers while manually moving the tub. If they are loose, leaking oil, or offer little resistance, replace them as a pair or set.
- Step 4 – Check springs: From the top, inspect the suspension springs that hang the tub. Replace any that are stretched, broken, or detached.
