Possible Causes
Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars, Faulty moisture sensor wiring, Incorrect program selection, Control board moisture sensing fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning sensor bars.
- Step 1 – Clean sensor bars: Locate the metal moisture sensor strips inside the drum (usually near the door). Clean them with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove any waxy softener film.
- Step 2 – Check wiring: Access the rear of the sensor bars and ensure the wires are firmly connected and not broken.
- Step 3 – Program selection: Use appropriate drying programs for the load type and size. Very small loads may not contact the sensors properly.
- Step 4 – Control board: If issues persist, the Fagor control board’s moisture sensing circuit may require professional diagnosis.
