Washer-dryer overfills or shows E04 shortly after starting; may attempt to drain immediately.

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water taps. If the drum is overfilled, manually bail out water before tilting or moving the appliance.

• Step 1 – Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the small rubber or plastic hose running from the bottom of the tub to the pressure switch. Ensure it is firmly connected at both ends, not split, kinked, or blocked. Blow gently through the hose (disconnected from the switch) to clear soap residue.
• Step 2 – Test pressure switch: With the hose reconnected and power off, remove the pressure switch connector. Using a multimeter, check continuity between switch terminals while gently blowing into the hose; contacts should change state with pressure. If not, replace the Fagor pressure switch.
• Step 3 – Check inlet valve for sticking: With power off, inspect the water inlet valve for signs of internal leakage (water entering even when unplugged). If water continues to flow with the machine unplugged and taps open, the valve is mechanically stuck and must be replaced.
• Step 4 – Wiring and PCB: Inspect wiring between the pressure switch and main control board for damage or loose connectors. If all components test good but E04 remains, the control board’s level sensing circuit may be defective and require professional repair or replacement.
