Possible Causes

Faulty pressure switch, Blocked pressure chamber on tub, Split or blocked pressure hose, Control board analog sensing fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps.

  • Step 1 – Clean pressure chamber: Locate the pressure hose connection on the side or bottom of the tub. Remove the hose and inspect the tub spigot for soap scum or sludge. Clean thoroughly to ensure clear air passage.
  • Step 2 – Inspect and replace hose if needed: Check the entire length of the pressure hose for pinholes, splits, or kinks. Replace with the correct diameter hose if damaged.
  • Step 3 – Test pressure switch: Remove the Fagor pressure switch from its mount. With a multimeter, check continuity changes across its terminals while gently blowing into the hose connection. If switching is inconsistent or absent, replace the switch.
  • Step 4 – Wiring and PCB: Verify the connector at the pressure switch and at the main PCB is clean and firmly seated. If all components are good but E10 persists, the control board’s level sensing circuit may be defective and require professional service.
