Possible Causes
Severely unbalanced load, Faulty drum suspension (shock absorbers), Defective tachometer feedback, Control board spin logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal checks.
- Step 1 – Redistribute load: Open the door (if water is drained and door unlocked) and redistribute laundry evenly around the drum. Avoid single heavy items (e.g., one bath mat). Run a spin-only cycle.
- Step 2 – Check suspension: Remove the rear or side panel and inspect the Fagor shock absorbers and springs. If the drum bounces excessively or shocks are leaking oil, replace the shock absorbers.
- Step 3 – Verify tachometer: Follow the tachometer testing steps as in E08. A faulty tachometer can cause the control to abort spin.
- Step 4 – Control board: If mechanical components are sound and E15 persists, the spin control algorithm or triac on the PCB may be faulty and should be evaluated by a technician.
