Washer-dryer makes a scraping or metallic noise when the drum turns.

• Step 1 – Inspect drum: Rotate the drum slowly and listen for localized scraping. Look through the holes for visible objects.
• Step 2 – Check drum paddles: Some Fagor drum lifters can be removed by sliding or releasing clips. Remove the lifter nearest the noise and inspect underneath for trapped items.
• Step 3 – Access via heater or sump: Remove the heater or sump hose to reach and remove foreign objects from the tub bottom.
• Step 4 – Refit components: Ensure drum lifters and heater are refitted correctly to avoid leaks.
