Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply.

• Step 1 – Inspect door seal: Open the door and carefully examine the entire circumference of the Fagor door gasket for tears, holes, or deformation. Remove any coins, bra wires, or debris lodged in the folds.
• Step 2 – Check retaining bands: Ensure the inner and outer metal or wire clamps holding the seal to the tub and front panel are tight. Re-seat or tighten as needed.
• Step 3 – Replace gasket if damaged: Remove the outer clamp, peel the seal from the front panel, then remove the inner clamp and pull the seal off the tub lip. Fit the new gasket in reverse order, ensuring the drain holes are at the bottom.
• Step 4 – Detergent usage: Use HE detergent and correct doses to prevent excessive suds, which can overflow the door area.
