How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water. Be prepared for water spillage when opening panels.
- Step 1 – Remove panels: Take off the rear and/or side panels to inspect inside while running a short fill and drain test (with extreme caution and no exposed hands near live parts).
- Step 2 – Identify leak source: Look for drips from the tub-to-pump hose, pump body, or other hoses. Check for white marks indicating dried leaks.
- Step 3 – Tighten or replace hoses: Tighten hose clamps. If hoses are cracked or swollen, replace them with Fagor-compatible hoses.
- Step 4 – Replace leaking pump: If water seeps from the pump shaft or housing, replace the drain pump assembly.
