Washer-dryer combo displays E12 during drying; clothes are hot and damp, cycle ends prematurely.

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before servicing.

• Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter before every drying cycle.
• Clean condenser (if applicable): Remove the condenser unit and flush with warm water to remove lint and scale. Let it dry fully before reinstalling.
• Inspect air ducts: Access internal ducts by removing the top and rear panels. Vacuum out lint from the blower housing and ducts.
• Check thermistor: Locate the Fisher & Paykel dryer thermistor on the heater housing or air duct. Test its resistance at room temperature and compare with service specifications. Replace if out of range or open.
• Check thermostats: Test continuity of any high-limit thermostats on the heater housing. Replace any that are open.
• Reassemble and test: After cleaning and replacing faulty parts, run a low-heat dry cycle and monitor for normal operation.
