Washer-dryer combo drum does not turn during wash or dry, but the unit fills and drains normally.

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before inspection.

• Check drum movement: Try to rotate the drum by hand. If it is seized or very stiff, there may be a foreign object or bearing issue.
• Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and check if the drive belt is off the pulleys or broken. Replace with a new Fisher & Paykel belt if necessary.
• Check motor: If the belt is intact, test the motor for continuity and inspect wiring. A humming sound without rotation may indicate a seized motor.
• Control module: If motor and belt are good but the drum still does not turn, the motor control module may be faulty and require replacement.
