Possible Causes
Stuck-open water inlet valve, Faulty pressure sensor not detecting level, Blocked pressure hose or air trap, Main control board misreading level signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply immediately if overfilling occurs.
- Check water inlet valve operation: With the unit unplugged and water supply turned on, see if water continues to flow into the drum. If so, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Inspect pressure hose and air trap: Follow the steps under E31 to ensure the hose is clear and airtight.
- Test fill behavior: After cleaning and reassembly, restore power and run a small load. Watch the fill level. If it continues to rise beyond normal and E35 appears, suspect the pressure sensor or control board.
- Replace faulty components: Replace the water inlet valve if it leaks when de-energized. Replace the pressure sensor if it does not change output with water level (technician test). If both are good, the main control board may need replacement.
