How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the control board.
- Verify heater circuit: Confirm that the heater element and thermostats are good (see E63 steps).
- Inspect control board: Remove the control board and look for discoloration or burn marks near the heater relay.
- Replace main control board: If the relay is defective, replace the entire Frigidaire main control board. Board-level relay replacement is not recommended for DIY.
- Check wiring: Ensure heater wiring to the board is secure and not shorted.
