How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water. Expect water spillage when disconnecting hoses.
- Inspect rear drain hose: Look for splits, abrasions, or loose connections at the back of the unit and at the standpipe.
- Check internal hoses: Remove the lower front or rear panel and inspect the tub-to-pump hose and pump-to-drain hose for leaks while running a short cycle.
- Tighten or replace clamps: Use a screwdriver or pliers to snug hose clamps. Replace any rusted or broken clamps.
- Replace leaking components: If the pump housing or hoses are cracked, replace them with Frigidaire-approved parts.
