How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing panels.
- Check for error codes: If any drain or motor codes are present, address those first.
- Verify drain: Ensure the unit drains completely (see E21 troubleshooting). Standing water will prevent high-speed spin.
- Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and check the drive belt for glazing, cracks, or looseness. Replace if worn.
- Balance the load: Redistribute laundry and run a spin-only cycle. Large, heavy items can cause the control to limit spin speed.
- Further diagnosis: If the belt and drain are good but spin is still weak, motor or control issues may require professional diagnosis.
