How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and disconnect the exhaust hose before cleaning.
- Check venting: Inspect and clean the entire exhaust path from the combo to the outside vent hood. Replace crushed or excessively long flexible ducting.
- Clean lint internally: Remove rear panel and vacuum lint from the blower housing, heater housing, and ducts.
- Inspect heater: Test the heater element and thermostats for proper operation (see E61/E63).
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Inside the drum, locate the metal sensor bars (if equipped) and clean them with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue.
