Possible Causes

Blocked pressure sensor hose, Defective water level pressure sensor, Stuck water inlet valve, Faulty main control module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply taps immediately to prevent flooding.

  • 1. Stop water flow: Turn off the water taps. If water continues to enter, disconnect the inlet hoses from the rear of the appliance.
  • 2. Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover and locate the pressure sensor and its thin rubber hose leading to the tub. Detach the hose and blow gently through it to clear soap residue or lint. Ensure the tub connection is not blocked.
  • 3. Check pressure sensor: Examine the sensor for cracks, water ingress, or loose connectors. Reseat the wiring plug. If the sensor rattles internally or shows corrosion, replace it.
  • 4. Test inlet valve for sticking: With hoses removed and taps open, check if water flows through the valve without power applied. Any flow indicates a mechanically stuck valve that must be replaced.
  • 5. Trial run: Reassemble, reconnect hoses, restore power, and run a short cycle under supervision. If E04 reappears or the unit overfills, stop the cycle and arrange for control module diagnostics by a qualified technician.
