Possible Causes

Leaking door seal, Split drain hose, Loose tub-to-pump hose clamp, Leaking inlet valve or internal hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water taps immediately. Water in the base can contact live parts.

  • 1. Tilt and drain base: Carefully tilt the appliance slightly backward (with assistance) to allow water in the base tray to drain out onto towels. This may temporarily reset the leak sensor but does not fix the cause.
  • 2. Inspect visible leaks: Check around the door seal, front panel, and rear hoses for obvious drips or water trails.
  • 3. Remove panels for inspection: Take off the rear and, if accessible, side panels. Look for water marks around the tub, pump, hoses, and inlet valve. Tighten any loose hose clamps.
  • 4. Check door seal: Examine the bellows seal for tears, holes, or heavy mold. Replace if damaged.
  • 5. Test under operation: With panels off and the unit on a protected surface, run a short fill/drain cycle while observing for leaks. Once the source is identified, replace the faulty hose, clamp, seal, or valve.
  • 6. Do not bypass leak protection: If you cannot locate the leak, keep the appliance unplugged and contact a professional.
