How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal inspection.
- 1. Redistribute load: Open the door and rearrange laundry evenly around the drum. Remove heavy single items (e.g., bath mats) and run a separate spin.
- 2. Check machine leveling: Ensure the washer-dryer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust feet and lock nuts as needed.
- 3. Inspect dampers: Remove the rear or side panel and inspect the suspension dampers for oil leakage or weak resistance. Replace if worn.
- 4. Verify tachometer sensor: Check the motor tachometer connection and resistance as described for E07.
- 5. If E18 continues: With mechanical causes ruled out, the control module may not be managing spin correctly and should be evaluated professionally.
