Possible Causes

Persistent unbalanced load, Faulty motor tachometer sensor, Worn suspension dampers, Control module spin logic fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal inspection.

  • 1. Redistribute load: Open the door and rearrange laundry evenly around the drum. Remove heavy single items (e.g., bath mats) and run a separate spin.
  • 2. Check machine leveling: Ensure the washer-dryer is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust feet and lock nuts as needed.
  • 3. Inspect dampers: Remove the rear or side panel and inspect the suspension dampers for oil leakage or weak resistance. Replace if worn.
  • 4. Verify tachometer sensor: Check the motor tachometer connection and resistance as described for E07.
  • 5. If E18 continues: With mechanical causes ruled out, the control module may not be managing spin correctly and should be evaluated professionally.
