Possible Causes
Clogged drain pump filter, Partially blocked drain hose, Unbalanced load detection limiting spin speed, Worn motor brushes or weak motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning the filter.
- 1. Clean drain filter: Open the lower service flap, drain residual water, and remove and clean the pump filter thoroughly.
- 2. Check drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked and is free of blockages.
- 3. Redistribute load: Run a spin-only cycle with the load redistributed evenly. Avoid mixing heavy and light items.
- 4. Inspect motor performance: If the drum struggles to accelerate or makes sparking noises (on brushed motors), inspect and replace worn carbon brushes.
- 5. Verify spin settings: Ensure the selected program has maximum spin enabled and that any low-spin or delicate options are not active.
