How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting feet or accessing suspension.
- Level the machine: Use a bubble level on top of the unit. Adjust the leveling feet until the washer-dryer is stable and does not rock. Tighten lock nuts.
- Check shipping bolts: On new installations, ensure all shipping bolts and transit braces have been removed from the rear.
- Inspect suspension: From the top or rear, inspect GE suspension rods/springs and dampers for breakage or oil leakage. Replace as a set if worn.
