How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Check visible leaks: Look around the door seal, detergent drawer, and rear hoses for dripping water.
- Inspect base tray (advanced): Carefully tilt the machine slightly backward and look underneath for water. If safe, remove the rear or side panel to access the base tray.
- Dry the base: Mop up any water in the base tray and gently dry the float switch area. Do not bypass or remove the float switch.
- Identify leak source: Run a short fill cycle while observing hoses, the sump, and pump connections. Tighten hose clamps or replace cracked hoses as needed.
Do not continue using the appliance until the leak source is repaired, as it can cause electrical hazards and further damage.
