How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use only cleaning agents approved for washing machines and follow label instructions.
- Run a hot maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (if permitted by Gorenje guidelines) to kill bacteria and dissolve residues.
- Clean door seal: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth soaked in mild detergent or diluted bleach solution. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean detergent drawer: Remove and wash the drawer and housing to remove mold and residue.
- Leave door open: After each use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow ventilation and drying.
