Possible Causes

Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Low household water pressure, Defective water level (pressure) sensor or blocked pressure hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water supply taps before disconnecting hoses.

  • Step 1 – Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps (if applicable) feeding the Gram combo are fully open. Verify household water pressure by opening a nearby tap.
  • Step 2 – Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the inlet hoses from the rear inlet valves. Inside the valve ports are small mesh filters; gently pull them out with pliers and rinse under running water to remove limescale and debris. Refit filters and hoses securely.
  • Step 3 – Test fill: Restore power and water, then start a quick wash. If the machine still does not fill, proceed.
  • Step 4 – Check inlet valve operation: With power disconnected, access the top or rear panel to reach the water inlet valve assembly. Inspect wiring connectors. With a multimeter, measure coil resistance; an open circuit coil indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
  • Step 5 – Inspect pressure system: Locate the water level (pressure) sensor, usually mounted high on the side wall, with a thin rubber hose going to the tub. Remove the hose and blow gently to clear any blockage. Check for splits or kinks. If the sensor shows incorrect readings or the hose is clear but E02 persists, the sensor may be faulty.

If the inlet valve and pressure sensor test correctly but the valve is not energized during fill, the main control PCB may be defective and should be diagnosed by a professional.
